NFL Star, Micah Parsons

NFL Star, Micah Parsons

Micah Parsons is one of the most talented defensive players in the NFL. He made waves earlier this year when he was shockingly traded from the Dallas Cowboys to the Green Bay Packers. Learn more about the Defensive End below

Young Superstar

Micah Parsons was born on May 26, 1999. He is from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The future NFL star would attend Central Dauphin High School until his Junior Year. He would then transfer to Harrisburg High School.

In High School, Parsons played running back and defensive end. Much like he does to-day, Parsons raked up big numbers as a defensive player.

College Ball

Colleges took interest in Parsons as a Defensive player. Despite him playing both sides of the ball in high school. His ability to rush the quarterback and tackle with precision was appealing to scouts. He received a lot of offers, but he would lock in on Penn State.

Parsons would only play two years at the school. Those years were strong for Parsons, and he put up big numbers. He entered the NFL Draft in 2021.

Skipping his Junior and Senior years to enter the draft was a gamble. Few players in college football enter the draft after their sophomore season. He believed in himself, and the risk paid off.

Star Player

Parsons would be selected by the Dallas Cowboys with the 12 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. His impact, on arguably the sport’s world’s most famous franchise, was im-mediate. He was a defensive marvel who could impact every part of the field. He quickly became a superstar for Dallas, a franchise known for having superstars.

Shocker

In a shocking move, Parsons was traded to the Green Bay Packers in August 2025. He would sign a huge contract with his new franchise. His arrival instantly made the Pack-ers a contender.
